Application Process:

When a student applies for admission at USM, he/she is automatically considered for many of these scholarships. However, there are some scholarships that require an application or a faculty nomination. Scholarships may also require demonstration of financial need, which can be determined from the submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the federal processor. Most scholarships requiring an application can be found on the Scholarships page of USM’s Financial Aid Office web page (www.usm.maine.edu/fin/).
