Senior Commercial Credit Analyst
FAME is seeking a knowledgeable, driven, and compassionate individual to join the Credit Team as a Senior Commercial Credit Analyst. The primary responsibilities of this position include providing underwriting support for our commercial loan programs in accordance with loan policy. This role analyzes all aspects of credit, prepares reports on findings, and makes recommendations regarding decisions and structure. It is also responsible for managing workflow through the credit process and acting as a mentor to other credit analysts, as well as serving as a point of contact for other business staff.
This individual serves as a backup for the Senior Credit and Risk Officer, supporting functions including, but not limited to, managing relationships with internal and external partners as they relate to credit policy and program requirements, monitoring certain risk factors, preparing and presenting reports, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $75,000–$95,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off (13 holidays, vacation, personal days, and sick leave); health, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability coverage; tuition benefits for employees; and a 457(b) retirement plan with an 8% employer contribution.
Work Schedule and Location: Primarily based in our Augusta office, with the ability to work remotely after initial training and orientation.
Commercial Loan Officer – Contract Position
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer for a 6- to 12-month contract term to support our lending team by analyzing credit requests, closing commercial loans, reviewing and approving commercial loan insurance requests, servicing a commercial loan portfolio, and assisting with programmatic work. This position will also involve negotiating with lenders and/or borrowers to properly structure loan and loan insurance requests and presenting them to appropriate staff and/or FAME boards with recommendations for action.
This role requires a proactive, organized, and collaborative individual who is comfortable navigating complex commercial loans and working with multiple stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery and success of multiple credit and loan insurance requests.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, managing multiple priorities, and has commercial lending experience.
This is an independent contractor position, and the following documents are required upon offer acceptance:

The successful candidate will meet the following minimum education, experience, and work requirements:
- Proven experience (typically 3–5+ years) in banking, with a background in complex commercial loans, preferably in a consulting or contract capacity
- Demonstrated experience servicing commercial loan portfolios and presenting loans to stakeholders, including board-level audiences
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with multi-layer deal structures and business analysis practices strongly preferred
