Maine residents who are under 25 years of age, already enrolled in a Maine college, have completed at least one year of college and have a GPA of at least 3.0.

Applications are available January 1 of the award year and must be postmarked by March 15th of the award year.
Essay, work sample, and transcript. Recipient must attend college in Maine. Applications available after January 1 from: www.mainestatesociety.org, or: Maine State Society Foundation, 3508 Wilson Street, Fairfax, VA 22030 (Please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your request.)
Applicant must demonstrate depth of character, leadership, patriotism, seriousness of purpose, service orientation and high academic achievement.
