Maine Community Foundation Scholarships

The Maine Community Foundation awards more than $2 million each year from more than 525 scholarship funds. Scholarship funds are available for students of all ages attending secondary, postsecondary, and graduate education programs. We also have several scholarships that are for individuals to attend aspirational or nontraditional programs.

Application Process:

Typically, applications become available in January of the award year and are due between March-June.

The Maine Community Foundation is one of the largest sources of scholarship support in the State of Maine. We have over 525 funds that benefit Maine residents. Visit the Maine Community Foundation website for a full list of scholarships.

Each scholarship has its own eligibility requirements and review process. Many scholarships are limited to residents of specific counties or graduates of specific high schools. Our directory of scholarships is arranged by type (postsecondary, graduate school, aspirational and private high school) and by geographic region.
