Maine 4-H Foundation Post Secondary Scholarships

Qualified candidates must be:
1) A current member of 4-H who is currently active in 4-H activities; and
2) A graduating senior or an individual who has graduated from high school but has delayed postsecondary school for no more than one year.
Scholarship Amount: $500 - $2,500
Application Process:

High school applicants must submit an application, a high school transcript, essay “How has 4-H shaped my life” and 4-H resume, and a letter of recommendation from a 4-H leader or educator.

Applications may be downloaded from the Maine 4-H Foundation web page. Applications are also available from high school guidance offices, county extension offices, and, mail your complete application to the 4-H staff at your County Cooperative Extension Office.

A committee of the 4-H Foundation reviews applications and selects recipients. Awards to graduating high school seniors are based primarily on academic achievement and 4-H activities. The scholarships are not renewable.

NOTE: There is one application for five different scholarships.
