Lawrence Alan Spiegel Remembrance Scholarship – The Holocaust Human Rights Center of Maine

Open to any high school senior or homeschooled senior who is a resident of Maine and who has been accepted at any accredited college, university, or technical school that is Title IV eligible.
Scholarship Amount: $1,000
Application Process:

Applications are available on or after January 1 of the award year and are due on April 15th.

Applications are available from The Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine, Michael Klahr Center, University of Maine at Augusta, 46 University Drive, Augusta, ME 04330. If requesting by mail, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed, #10 envelope. The application will also be available online once the application period opens on January 1.

Students must write an essay, which is read by a panel of judges. The scholarship is not renewable.
