Lamey-Wellehan Maine Difference Scholarship

A Maine student who will be attending a Maine college or university, with both the commitment and ability to have a positive impact on Maine's economy and/or environment. The focus of the student's studies should be on the ecology and economics of Maine. The emphasis on these aspects with Maine as an intense background is structured to insure that both the student and the State of Maine benefit from the scholarship and careers that result from the student's education. The student may be in high school, or within four years of having graduated from high school. Three scholarships are available.
Scholarship Amount: $1,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study

Applications accepted from February 1 to May 30. All applications must be submitted before May 30. Once applications are submitted by the applicant, the application, school records and letters of recommendation are carefully evaluated.

All submitted information is reviewed by a key group from the Lamey-Wellehan team.
