FREE Federal Student Loan Counseling

To support Maine borrowers, FAME has partnered with two national experts who provide free one-on-one personalized federal student loan counseling. You don’t have to go it alone!

FAME administers the following loan, waiver, and repayment programs as part of our mission to help Maine students and families meet the costs associated with higher education.

Most applications are available in February of each year and are removed after the deadline.
