TEACH Scholarship Program
Eligibility Requirements
Child care center and family childcare educators may be eligible for a TEACH Early Childhood® Scholarship if they:• Live and work in Maine;
• Have a high school diploma or GED;
• Are employed at a licensed childcare facility or licensed family childcare home;
• Work a minimum of 30 hours a week and earn less than $25/hour; and
• Have the sponsorship of the early care and learning program which employs them.

To apply:
- Visit the website for the Maine Association for the Education of Young Children.
- Verify your eligibility.
- Complete the online application form.
- Return your signed completed application to info@maineaeyc.org.
Depending on the model you are on, TEACH can cover 85% – 90% of tuition (9-15 credits a year) plus provides semester stipends to help cover additional costs, like books.
