MaineGeneral Health Scholarship Program
Eligibility Requirements
MaineGeneral Health and individual sponsors offer a number of scholarships to support the education of health care professionals. Scholarships are given to individuals pursuing degrees in health care disciplines practiced at MaineGeneral Health.Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:
• Residence within MaineGeneral's service area. (See link below under Application Process.)
• Acceptance at an accredited school or licensed program
• Pursuit of a degree in health care disciplines practiced at MaineGeneral Health
• Scholastic achievement (must have a minimum GPA of 2.5, or 85 for high school students)
• Financial need
• Civic contribution
Application Process
Candidates must reside within MaineGeneral’s service area.
Applications are available in mid-February. For more information and to apply, please visit: https://give.mainegeneral.org/scholarships. Uploading documents via our web application is preferred. However, transcripts and recommendations may also be emailed to philanthropy@mainegeneral.org.
Scholarships are based on financial need, academic achievement, and community service.
