Eligibility Requirements
As Drummond Woodsum celebrates 60 years of service to schools across Maine and New Hampshire, we’re reflecting with gratitude on the partnerships that have helped shape our journey. From day one, our mission has been to help schools navigate complex challenges with clarity, compassion, and purpose. Over the decades, we’ve grown alongside our clients, supporting schools through challenges in special education, school employment law, collective bargaining, and so much more—always with a shared commitment to student success and safe, inclusive learning environments.In honor of this milestone, we are proud to announce the Drummond Woodsum Future Educators Scholarship, a new initiative to support aspiring educators in Maine and New Hampshire. This scholarship is our way of giving back to the communities we serve and investing in the future of teaching and learning.
Eligible applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
1. Academic Focus
Must be pursuing a degree in Education (e.g., early childhood, elementary, secondary, or special education) at an accredited college or university.
2. Enrollment Status
Must be currently enrolled in a college or university in Maine or New Hampshire, either:
Full-time (12 or more credit hours per semester), or
Part-time (minimum of 9 credit hours per semester).
3. Educational Background
Applicants must meet one of the following:
Be a graduating high school senior from a school in Maine or New Hampshire, or
Be a graduate of a Maine or New Hampshire high school within one year of the application date, or
Be a current college student enrolled in a Maine or New Hampshire college or university, regardless of high school graduation date, as long as pursuing a degree in education.
