FAFSA simplification, also known as Better FAFSA, Better Future by Federal Student Aid, is coming! Updates to the FAFSA form and process will result in the most significant changes in the last 30 years. The new form will be “roles-based” and require everyone accessing the FAFSA to have an FSA ID that’s been matched with the Social Security Administration. In this session, we’ll share an overview of the changes as well as what you need to know to help your students and families get ready for the 2024-2025 FAFSA and its delayed release in December 2023.
