Credit Analyst – Commerical Lending
FAME is looking to add to our Credit Team. The Credit Analyst is responsible for the financial analysis of our commercial product loans of varying complexity and size. Identifying risk, reviewing requests for exceptions and evaluating loan structure are all components of this role. The Credit Analyst is responsible for providing timely and accurate analysis of financial statements on commercial loans participating in FAME’s commercial lending products. This role will provide underwriting support for our commercial programs in accordance with loan policy and risk rating functions. Analyzes all aspects of credit, prepares reports on findings and makes recommendations on decision and structure. The analyst is responsible for timely and up-to-date documentation in all loan files and systems. The ideal candidate will be a skilled analyst with commercial loan underwriting experience. The ability to make interpretive analyses of financial statements and supporting documentation on new and existing commercial loans; prepare appropriate documentation to assist in the loan decision-making process. The candidate will be required to review and analyze updated financial statements and supporting documentation on existing loans on at least an annual basis and make recommendations as appropriate regarding loan status and risk rating guidelines.
This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $60,000 – $72,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off (13 holidays, vacation, personal days and sick leave), health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, tuition benefits for employees, and a 457(b) retirement plan with 8% employer contribution.
Work Schedule and Location: Primarily based in our Augusta office location, ability to work a remote schedule after initial training and orientation.
Compliance Officer
FAME is seeking a strategic, collaborative and creative individual to join our risk management team. You will work closely with the Chief Risk Officer and other leaders to help design and implement a forward-thinking compliance program for FAME’s future. The Compliance Officer will oversee and execute the Compliance function within the Risk Pillar. They will be responsible for the design and management of Compliance and Internal Audit Program, including policy development and subsequent regular internal testing. The Compliance Officer ensures the Authority’s risk is appropriately understood and managed across risk areas, including but not limited to operational risk and finance risk, and advises and drives the development and implementation, testing and maintenance of new and existing policies.

Operations Manager
FAME is seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to provide for our day to day support for FAME’s clients, internal and external customers, and partners in the following areas: FAME’s portfolio of commercial and education financing products and services. This role will be responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities and onboard new programs accordingly. All efforts will be aimed at providing excellent customer service, employee development, and performance in meeting strategic objectives in support of Maine people.
This full-time position offers an annual salary range of $82,000 – $90,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off (13 holidays, vacation, personal days and sick leave), health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, tuition benefits for employees, and a 457(b) retirement plan with 8% employer contribution.
