Tyler Technologies Maine App Challenge Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements
You are eligible to participate in the Challenge if you meet the following requirements at the time of App Challenge entry:• You are a student enrolled in at least middle school level classes, including a home school program, in Maine during the 2024-2025 school year.
• You (or your parent or legal guardian, if you are under 18 years of age) are a Maine resident as defined by Maine laws and regulations.
• You are at least 13 years old by 12:01 a.m. on January 1, 2025.
• You are not a child, stepchild, or household member of any person employed by Tyler Technologies, or household member of a Maine App Challenge judge.
• You have signed a Maine App Challenge Participation, Consent, and Release form ("Consent") and submitted it with your Submission. If you are under the age of 18 years old, you have informed your parent(s) or legal guardian of your desire to participate, and your Consent has been signed by a parent or legal guardian.
• You are on only one Maine App Challenge Team. Teams may consist of one, two, or three students and each Team member must meet all the individual eligibility requirements listed in 1-5 above.
Application Process
You may register for the Maine App Challenge email list at any time. The submission deadline for the Maine App Challenge is in April. See website for specific date.

The scholarship is awarded based on the judging rubric (which can be found on the website.
Submission Requirements
Your submission must contain the following items:
◾Your App — Either a link to your app or to a file to load onto a device
◾Your Video — link to YouTube
App
Apps must run on iOS or Android. See below for submission requirements.
◾For Android Submissions: ◾A .APK File
◾For iOS Submissions: ◾The XCode project root directory containing the .xcodeproj file and all subsequent files/folders
◾For Code.org Submissions: ◾A URL to the app
