New England Employee Benefits Council Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements

In order to be eligible, a student must:

- Be a college student (undergraduate or graduate) studying in an accredited academic program leading to a degree; either residing in New England, or enrolled in a college in New England.
- The applicant should demonstrate interest in Human Resources, Employee Benefits, and/or Total Rewards, all of which may encompass compensation/underwriting/consulting/retirement planning through their course of study and/or work experience. This list includes but is not limited to: employee/internal communications, compensation or total rewards, retirement strategies, human resources or organizational behavior, ERISA and legal aspects of employee benefits, wellbeing or work/life programs.

Current NEEBC Board members, their spouses, and children are not eligible to participate

Application Process

Provide completed application, college transcripts, two or more references from college professors, NEEBC members, or other benefit professionals. Send materials postmarked no later than April 1 to: NEEBC Attn: Scholarship Information, 561 Virginia Road Suite 217, Concord, MA 01742 (781) 684-9200.

Based on demonstrated educational performance and benefit career aspirations and goals. Some of the other criteria for determining awards are:
School and community activities
Work experience
Future potential
Academic performance
