There sure has been a lot going on with student loans these days! It’s been hard to keep track of the status of debt forgiveness, waivers, when student loans will go back into repayment, and more. This session, presented by nationally recognized student loan expert, Betsy Mayotte, will explain what to expect regarding the Biden/Harris debt relief program, when the student loan payment pause will end, how student loan borrowers can still take advantage of the temporary exceptions available to those pursuing Public Service Loan Forgiveness, and BIG changes that impact federal Parent PLUS Loan borrowers.

This session is being offered in partnership with the Finance Authority of Maine, also known as FAME. Near the bottom of the registration form, there is an option to sign up for helpful tips about financing education beyond high school. Those tips will come from FAME.
