Understanding the Status of Debt Relief and the PSLF Waivers

Date/Time
Date(s) - Wednesday December 14, 2022
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Location
Online

There sure has been a lot going on with student loans these days! It’s been hard to keep track of the status of debt forgiveness, waivers, repayment restart, and more. This session, presented by nationally recognized student loan expert Betsy Mayotte, will explain what to expect regarding the Biden/Harris debt relief program, repayment restart, and how borrowers can still take advantage of the temporary exceptions available to those pursuing Public Service Loan Forgiveness. We’ll hopefully also have some good news about a temporary program that could provide relief to borrowers in default or those that have been paying on their loans for a very long time.

Intended Audience

This FREE webinar is intended for school counselors, college access professionals, adult education professionals, financial aid counselors, and anyone working with students.
