Storytime at South Portland Public Library

Date/Time
Date(s) - Friday February 17, 2023
10:30 am - 11:30 am

Location
South Portland Public Library: Main Library

Join FAME’s Maire Pelletier for a special storytime featuring the book, “Those Shoes.” The book explores the difference between wants and needs as well as topics of community, empathy, and generosity. The event is a unique opportunity for families and caregivers to enjoy a wonderful story of sharing while also learning more about saving for higher education.

Maire is a graduate of the University of Maine Orono with a bachelor’s in Art Education and a background in teaching from preschool up to 12th grade. As a NextGen 529 College Savings Counselor at FAME, she continues to help students and their families achieve their aspirations of education after high school and fulfill their goals for their future.

For more information, please visit the library’s website.
