Putting the Literacy in Financial Literacy: A FAME Book Club

Looking for a good introduction to a variety of investment-related topics? Join FAME College Savings Counselor Maire Pelletier as she dissects Erin Lowry’s Broke Millennial Takes on Investing: A Beginner’s Guide to Leveling Up Your Money. In this second book in the Broke Millennial series, Lowry addresses some of the biggest questions early investors have, such as:

  • Should I invest while paying down student loans?
  • How do I invest in a socially responsible way?
  • What about robo-advisors and apps–are any of them any good?
  • Where can I look online for investment advice?

The book club will meet on the following Tuesdays at 6:00 pm:

  • February 6
  • February 20
  • March 5
  • March 19

Registrants will need to purchase their own copy of the book to participate.
