Financial Aid and Paying for College for Maine Foster and Adopted Children

In this session we’ll discuss the financial aid process and how it can differ for Maine’s foster and adopted students. We’ll talk about financial aid forms and who completes them, how the Foster Care Tuition Waiver works and who is eligible, and discuss what it means if you don’t receive the waiver.   Presenter, Jessica Whittier, is a College Access Counselor with the Finance Authority of Maine and is also a foster/adoptive parent of four.
