Filing the FAFSA with Students in Unique Living Situations

Date/Time
Date(s) - Wednesday September 14, 2022
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Location
Online

Many students have complicated living situations, and some don’t even live with a parent. For these students, filing the FAFSA can feel daunting. This can be especially true for students who don’t meet the “independent” criteria on the FAFSA, but sometimes filing the FAFSA is easier than they think. Join us for September’s Wednesday Webinar where we’ll guide you through the criteria used to determine dependency status and discuss what happens when a student is not independent but is unable to provide parent information on the FAFSA. We’ll also share ideas on ways to help students advocate for themselves and take the necessary steps to maximize their financial aid eligibility.
