Financial Authority of Maine (FAME) and the Alfond Scholarship Foundation’s (ASF) programs and services can help you and your family reach your educational and financial goals. FAME, administrator of NextGen 529®, can help you afford higher education and expand your financial wellness. The Alfond Grant Program from ASF invests $500 for all babies born Maine residents starting in 2013 to be used for education after high school. Both ASF and FAME provide resources and information to help Maine children and families explore their journey to education after high school.

Meet our friendly knowledgeable team to get all your questions answered. All are welcome to this public event to experience multiple engaging stations and enter to win exciting prizes! Snacks will be provided.

Who should attend?
● USM students, faculty and staff
● Parents and anyone interested in saving for higher education with NextGen 529®
● Students and families with general questions about FAFSA and financial aid
● Those looking to grow their financial wellness and budgeting skills
● Health professions majors seeking information on loan forgiveness programs
