The Finance Authority of Maine is hosting NextGen workshops throughout the state of Maine. The workshops will provide an opportunity for Maine residents to learn more about Maine’s NextGen plan and its unique benefits for Maine residents. FAME staff will be available at the workshop(s) to offer assistance with completing the account application necessary to open a NextGen college savings account. Before investing you should consider the investment objectives, charges and expenses of, and the risks of investing in the NextGen Plan. You should also consider whether your or the Beneficiary’s home state offers any state tax or other benefits that are only available for investments in such state’s 529 plan. Request a Program Description from your Maine Distribution Agent or call FAME at 800-228-3734 and read it carefully.
