Bangor Theological Seminary

  • At Beal College, courses are offered in eight-week terms called MOD's (short for modular system).   • University College (UC) is the part of the University of Maine System (UMS) that provides statewide access to courses and degrees for those who cannot pursue studies on a UMS campus.

Washington County Community College

Description:  
  • For over thirty-five years WCCC has been providing quality education and training in eighteen different occupational areas for people and companies throughout Maine, New England, the United States, and beyond. Our recently approved expanded mission and name change established a Liberal Studies program that has been very popular with students desiring a low cost entry into postsecondary education.

  • On a hillside overlooking the St. Croix River, the campus ranges over 400 acres of fields and forests and abuts the Moosehead National Wildlife Refuge. This refuge is a haven to nesting eagles every year. WCCC provides modern classrooms, well-equipped shops and multipurpose vessels for effective learning. Our goal is to provide solid technical training for industry.

York County Community College

Description:  
  • York County Community College, one of seven colleges of the Maine Community College System, is a two year public college that offers majors leading to Associate in Applied Science, Associate in Science, and Associate in Arts degrees, as well as many one year college Certificate programs. We pride ourselves on being an institution of higher learning which offers an innovative curriculum, up-to-date technology (including a growing number of online courses), and diverse programming to fulfill the needs of students and businesses in York County, and beyond.

  • YCCC faculty members have real life experience in their fields of expertise, in addition to academic credentials. The campus is new and facilities are expanding, classes are small and supportive, tuition is affordable, and many courses and majors are articulated for transferability to four-year colleges and universities.
