Did you know that, according to our post-event surveys, people like YOU were cited by students and parents as their primary source of information related to the FAFSA.  You are their trusted counselor and advisor and they completed the FAFSA largely because you encouraged them to do so!


To help you continue to be that go-to resource for your students, we created these tools for you:

  • Posters: Hang event posters in school – write in an event location near you, see event locations.
  • Postcards: Mail or hand out postcards to students – write in an event location near you, see event locations.
  • Thermometer Posters: Track your school's FAFSA completion.
  • FAFSA Champions: Nominate FAFSA Champions for your school to expand your reach and increase the buzz around the importance of FAFSA filing.
  • Phone script:

Don’t forget, seniors must file their FAFSA by May 1st to be considered for a $1,000 State of Maine Grant.
