FAME's College Access and Financial Education staff travel the state to provide students and families with the information they need to understand how to pay for their post-high school education.

Financial Aid Basics     This presentation is designed to prepare high school students and their families for the college financial aid process.
Preparing for College A short overview for high school sophomores and juniors that includes how to choose a college, how to apply for financial aid, scholarship searches and other web resources.
What Happens Next? So, you filed the FAFSA.  Now what?  This session will help students and families understand their financial aid award letters and how to compare college costs.
Preparing for College Now What every high school freshman and parent should know about paying for college.
Financial Aid for the Adult Student Adult nontraditional students must balance work, family, finances and other commitments while pursuing their education. This workshop includes financial aid basics and tips designed to help adult students make a plan to succeed.
How to Minimize Student Loan Borrowing The key is having the right information at the right time!  Students will be given the information they need to know before they start college.  Web tools and scenarios will demonstrate the impact of choices on indebtedness.
Student Loan Basics Parents and students will understand the different types of loans available to help pay for college.  They will learn the pros and cons of each type of loan, the repayment options available and why on-time repayment is important.
Saving for College Parents of elementary, middle and high school students will benefit from this workshop.  They will learn about some common savings options and the real impact on financial aid. Learn why saving for college is a good thing!
