Notice of Request for Proposals
The Finance Authority of Maine (“FAME”) seeks applicants to respond to a Request for Proposals to operate a regional economic development revolving loan program as defined in Chapter 314 of the FAME Rules (“Rule”). The program, administered by FAME, permits eligible local, regional or statewide nonprofit or governmental economic development organizations to apply for grants to establish or expand revolving loan funds within their organizations. Funds must be used to make loans to eligible business borrowers in order to create or retain jobs. Proposals are due at FAME by 5:00 p.m. on March 14, 2008.
